Typeface „AR57“
This is the core element of our visual identity. There are four additional stylistic sets to the capital “A” that can be used in static and animated headlines. The rest of the letters are identical with the “AG57” by Erik Spiekermann, which is an open access digitalization of a post-war variation of the Akzidenz-Grotesk.
Download
The typeface is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) license. You need to unzip the download-file and then install the .otf file with your computers integrated font software.
Demo
To use the stylistic sets in layouts, you need a program that supports OpenType font features like Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. You’ll be able to mark the “A” in your text window and make a selection.
Animations
You can use the following input field to write a desired headline. The capital “A” will be animated. You can make a screen recording of it and build it into videos for social media postings or else. It is suggested to use a widescreen monitor for this.
Logo
Use the logo to identify About Repetition as the sender of a message.
Download
This file contains logo variations in scalable paths. You need to unzip and then open it with Adobe Illustrator and copy the logo into your layouts and convert it into your desired color profile. If you need a pixelated version for print or something specific like that, please contact us.
Word mark
The word mark is required if there is no other visual indication that About Repetition is the sender, such as on a poster for a venue where we collaborate with other institutions.
Image mark
The image mark can be used if the publication is recognizable as being sent by About Repetition, such as in an exhibition catalogue or on our Instagram profile.
Color
The basic colors are black and white. Grey can be used when the black-white contrast is too intense, e.g. for interior design.
